Yes, after you receive the transport documents from the carrier (Bill of Lading, Air Waybill, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, etc.), you usually need to:
1. Fill out/complete the broker packet.
2. Send the packet to your customs broker so they can process customs clearance, duties, and final delivery.
You are able to cancel any load you don’t want to take. You are not required to take every load that’s offered. We work hard to find loads that fulfill your requirements.
We have contacts with many brokers and shippers also have load boards. We contact the broker get a suitable load, negotiate it according to your requirements and get in front of you, if you like it then we will go further and book this load for you. If you don’t like this load offer, then we will find another load offer for you according to your requirements. Our dispatcher will stay in contact with you and your drivers to obtain their current location and Estimated Time Of Arrival ( ETA ) for delivery. Once we know where you are and where you’re going, we’ll begin working on getting you a reload. Once a qualified load is found, our dispatcher will begin to gather information and negotiate rates. We’ll always contact you for approval on every load so there’s nothing to worry about. If you agree to the load offer. We will book the next load for you.
After the proof of delivery ( POD ) career get paid directly by the broker.
Payment Timeline :
Normal pay: 15–30 days after POD is received
Quick Pay (if broker offers it): 24–72 hours with a small fee.
Factoring company (if carrier uses one): Carrier sells invoice to factoring company and gets money fast (same day or next day).
You have to inform us when you get involved in these situations and you have to pay only for those loads that you picked up from us and you can join once you are back on the road.
